This will be quick. I watched the press conference introducing Scott Linehan as the new Rams head coach. He seemed a little nervous...who wouldn't be. He seemed to be genuinely honored to be chosen. He seemed to be authentically excited by the opportunity. And more than all of that, he appears to be a good person, and of good character.
Now, we all know that that doesn't necessarily mean that he'll coach winning football. If it was just character and being a nice guy that mattered we might still have the Big Red and Gene Stallings in town. But it looks like Linehan is off to a good start...at least with public perception.
